Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy

At The Haus of Pet, we aim to make your shopping experience smooth, transparent, and stress-free.

The Haus of Pet is owned and operated by Studios Way (A-69, Lajpat Nagar - I, New Delhi, India 110024).


1. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch.
  • Once an order has been shipped, cancellation is not possible.
  • If cancelled successfully before dispatch, refunds will be processed to the original payment method or issued as store credit.

2. Return & Exchange Eligibility

Returns

Returns are accepted only if:

  • The product received is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
  • The request is raised within 7 days of delivery.
  • The product is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.
  • All tags, packaging, and accessories are intact.

Exchanges

Exchanges are accepted for:

  • Size-related issues (subject to stock availability).
  • Damaged, defective, or incorrect products.

Exchange requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Food, treats, supplements, or edible items.
  • Personalised or custom-made products.
  • Toys, grooming, hygiene, or healthcare-related items.
  • Sale, discounted, or clearance items.
  • Products showing signs of use, washing, damage, or alteration after delivery.

4. Return / Exchange Process

  • Share your Order ID via email or WhatsApp.
  • Mention the reason for the return or exchange.
  • Our team may request photos or videos for verification.
  • Requests submitted without sufficient proof may be declined.

5. Approval & Pickup

  • All return and exchange requests are subject to approval after inspection.
  • Once approved, we will arrange a pickup where available or provide further instructions.
  • Approval is granted solely at the discretion of Haus of Pet.

6. Replacements

  • Replacements are applicable only for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.
  • Approved replacements will be processed within 3–5 business days.
  • If the requested item is unavailable, a refund or store credit will be provided.

7. Refunds

  • Refunds are applicable only for approved returns involving damaged, defective, or incorrect products.
  • Refunds are processed after inspection and approval of the returned product.
  • Processing may take 5–8 business days depending on your payment provider.

Refund Method:

  • Prepaid Orders: Refund to the original payment method.
  • COD Orders: Refund via bank transfer or store credit.

8. Store Credit

  • Store credit, where applicable, will be valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
  • Store credit cannot be redeemed for cash.

9. Damaged or Defective Products

  • Any damaged, defective, or incorrect product must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Clear images and/or videos must be shared to facilitate a quick resolution.

10. General Conditions

  • Returns or exchanges without prior approval will not be accepted.
  • Products that do not meet the eligibility criteria may be returned to the customer.
  • Haus of Pet reserves the right to reject any request that does not comply with this policy.
  • Haus of Pet reserves the right to make the final decision regarding all returns, exchanges, replacements, refunds, and related disputes.
